Welcome to my public home on the Web. My name is Brian and I like to take pictures.  I’ll try to post some of them here periodically so that I can share what I’ve learned with other people who are starting out in this hobby!

I shoot Canon gear so many of my settings will be described in Canon terms; but generally the mechanics and physics will be the same across systems.  What you’ll see will have come from my current or past cameras; right now I’m shooting with a Canon EOS Rebel T1i, with the kit lens, a 70-300mm telephoto zoom, a 50mm F/1.4 prime, and the lens that almost never comes off the camera: a 24-105mm F/4L … Hoping to upgrade to a refurbished 60D in the near future, but I won’t hold my breath!
